Moral Murder

In light of Michael Vick's release, I have been reading opinion pieces around the net. What doing so has made me realize is that a portion of us in this country have completely lost our moral compass, if there was one to begin with. Maybe it's because the details of what was done to these dogs has not been mainstream, but I tend to believe that with many of these people it wouldn't matter. It would still be OK to them.

For instance, in one case a dog was sprayed down with a hose and then electrocuted. It was systematically tortured and killed. Another was slammed against the ground until it was dead.

What saddens me is that a growing number of ignorant folks out there are unable to distinguish the difference between sadistic behavior and criminal necessity, or criminal negligence. There is a difference between making a choice to consciously inflict horrible amounts of pain upon a living creature for fun and the majority of other crimes.

When Vick crossed that line, he proved he himself is nothing more than an animal in a position of power. Which leads me to my point:

I believe the reason we have come to this point is due to our inability to act forcibly upon bad behavior. In the face of the most horrible crimes we show leniency. "Second chance" is the phrase of the day when it comes to criminals. I am here to say certain crimes do not deserve second chances. Michael Vick does not deserve a second chance.

If anyone deserves to die, it is Michael Vick and his sick friends. Killing them would be a gift to humanity. Think of the offspring these degenerates will produce. Why should we sit back and do nothing whilst scum like this infects society? It is time for those of us with an understanding of the difference between a terrible accident and a despicable act to stand up and demand punishment.

"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle." - Edmund Burke

Ohhh, awesome post.

Interesting juxtaposition of animal cruelty with the cruel nature... and adding to that the cruel nature of boondock saints. One of my favorite movies.

There is a vast moral divide between some cruel boondock saint, or a blade, or a punisher and such... between the villains they deal with. This is a basic human understanding.

People pretend to not understand this, equating "murder" with "killing" and pretending to be confused between the two.

Someone like Vick has a peer group he wishes to impress and keep impressing. There, the peer group clearly loses all sense of objective knowledge of good and bad... substituting that intelligence with pleasing the herd. As if this makes them tough or strong.

They are the unbridled wolves of society. Other types of wolves allow them to continue their work and presence in society. These more sophisticated wolves also are pack animals. They use these dumber wolves as somesort of wedge or blunt instrument in society. It ends up that we have the law abiding sheep citizen and then the multiple layers of wolf citizens from those who rule society... through guile and bless others vile like themselves regardless of vileness... to those they bless, the knuckle dragging wolves.

There should be people saying, "Wait a minute. Innocent people in society are being fed upon and overpowered by vile people relying on their vileness... someone should shoot these wolves in the head and rid society of them forever."

Moral darkness is their friend. The knuckle draggers require the protection of the wolves in sheep clothing who tend to be in governing positions of society: media, government, religious establishments, etc.

Without that moral darkness they are exposed to everyone as the craven species they really are. The one thing that horrifies them worse then death itself. Hell.

Maybe the day will come when wolves will be shown up before everyone as wolves that they are and the people will go, "Well, no, of course you can't be a judge or priest or cop or politician... because you are plainly a wolf".

And for those who would claim to be dense, "shoot in the head" is clearly shown to be metaphorical. As in killing their brain, overpowering it, exposing their abilities to disguise themselves.

Because their brain, they rely on, to lie and create delusion.
